Every female on this planet dreamt of the perfect man. He can be the knight in shining armour type or the Prince charming type or even the Romeo type. But as people grow up and gain experience in life, the persona of the Perfect man changes. As people age, people begin to form their purpose in life. It really helps a person to form or have a direct purpose in life and not just living life as it goes by. By having this purpose in life, it serves as a guide line on finding the perfect one.
I want to share this little creed:
I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge.
That myth is more potent than history.
That dreams are more powerful than facts.
That hopes always triumphs over experience.
That laughter is the only cure for grief.
And I believee that love is stronger than death.
Ha! I found the man living his life on that creed. He is not the dream man I dreamt of when I was a kid. I always dreamt of having an older man with a degree of intelligence, a sense of class and gentleness. But the man living this creed is just perfect for my eyes now. I have learnt from the most cruel teacher in life (Experience) how to define perfection. Perfect man does not mean that he must attain complete perfection of a human being. Rather my definition of that person has broken down into a simpler and more attainable definition. It's hard to describe. But a person would know if he is the perfect one once you feel compleness on your well being. A perfect man is the one who brings complicity to your life. And somehow, that is very hard to find.
Of course, I still wish that he has certain traits that I am looking for when in comes to stability and security. But these things can be worked for.
The person who gave me these three rings is my husband, Paul. And yes I am happy of having him as my partner in life. We went through a lot of storms in life. Through those big hurdles, it just gave me the realization that he is the one for me. He is one of the sweetest soul anyone can find. Of course, everyone has
a weak spot, but I'd rather not discuss it here. All I want to point out is that I am happy with the decision I have made. And that I will work hard to make things work. My puropose in life is simple: to have a happy life and have kids with the one I love. I get to live once in this lifetime, so I might as well live life to the fullest.
