Even though they loved each other very much, one thing had come between Abs and Trinity; drugs. Trinity knew not to use drugs and didn't want to try them. Well, Abs knew better also, but made the wrong choice. Recently it had became like an obsession for Abs. He was getting stoned every night while Trinity looked on, wishing he'd stop. She wanted to confront him, but she was scared. Scared to speak up. Their relationship was going down-hill quickly. Since Trinity couldn't confide in Abs about his drug use...she turned to her brother Chad.
"Chad, I don't know what to do. I'm afraid! I'm afraid I'll lose him." Trinity exclaimed exasperated.
"Rin, you have to talk to him. You have no choice." He told her confortingly.
"That's the problem! I can't!"
"Why?"
"What if I tell him and he gets mad, flies of the handle, and he gets furious, and leaves me, or what if-"
"What if?! What if he wants to quit, what if, what if, Trinity...you'll not know unless you confront him. These are only what ifs. They mean nothing!"
"You're right Chad, but how? How am I supposed to talk to him? When I go home Abs'll probably be passed out in the floor...or even worse...DEAD!"
"Rin, calm down! Don't talk like that! You have to speak from your heart."
Trinity looked at her brother. He was being sincere.
"Ok." She nodded her head and got up from the seat at the cafe.
"Thanks bro." She said and kissed his cheek.
"Anytime." He said.
Trinity slowly walked down the sunny streets of London, which was unsual. The sun was hardly ever seen in London and usually, she used her car. She was thinking of what Chad had said. His words kept coming back to her.
'You have to speak from the heart.'
Suddenly, a siren jerked her out of her deep thoughts. She spun around in time to see an ambulance speed by her.
"Oh God! Abs!" She exclaimed, taking off down the street.
Finally...she reached her corner. She slammed open the door to the building and fled up the stairs. When she got there, she could see her apartment had been ransacked!
Panting, she ran in. Paramedics were all around.
"Abs, what happened?!" She asked astonished.
"I di-didn't pay of the dr-drugs an...and they came and be-beat me up. I'm so sorry Rin." He said weakly.
"Oh Abs, it's alright. Are you okay?"
"I think." He answered.
"Abs, you have to stop using whatever drugs you used!" Trinity exclaimed holding his hand.
"I know, but I'll need your help."
Trinity nodded and hugged him.
"Miss, we have to take him to the hospital. It's nothing major, just procedure." One paramedic told her.
"You're comin', right?" Abs asked.
"Ofcourse."
Trinity looked around. Their apartment was completely trashed.
'Oh well,' she thought. 'everything's gonna be alright.'
She smiled at that thought.
With that...she walked to her car and drove to the hospital.
On the way there, she called Chad.
"Hello?"
"Hey Chad."
"Oh hey Rin, how's it goin'?"
"You're not gonna believe this!"
"What?"
"It's alright!"
