I start my second last clinical placement in 2 weeks in Sudbury. Good old northern Ontario! It's a basic out-patient orthopeodic placement. I hope to work in this field when I'm finished, so my last 2 placements are hopefully going to prepare me for that!
In the mean time I'm trying to stay afloat with school, this last few months are pretty heavy in terms of getting everything including my thesis finished. There is a lot to do but I'm managing! I don't have much of a social life, but I still try to get out now and then.
This year has found me leading the single life again. It hasn't been easy, but in the end, it is a good thing and I'm happy. I'm focusing on myself, school and my career right now and I'm on the right track. I may even have a job when I graduate this summer! I'm very excited to get out there and start giving back and contributing to the world!
I still have big dreams of working and travelling with this profession and I am going to make it happen! I am graduating at the right time as the job market is prosperous for physiotherapists. And who knows...maybe along my travels, my dream guy will find me! :)
