Schmeichel

Hiya, I don't think I have, as yet, mentioned my favourite goalkeeper of all time...
Well, anyway, just in case you couldn't quite work that one out, this is he, Peter Schmeichel, an amazing goalkeeping figure who, during his time at United was possibly as influential as any captain/forward who have contributed to United's recent successes. I mention captains and forwards, because people often neglect goalkeepers and favour the belief that a striker can make or break a match, a goal or two can do it, and it's all very well having those goals, but having no-one to prevent goals from going in at the other end would mean a team would lose anyway!! ERIC CANTONA AND ROY KEANE ROCK. sorry just had to mention that one.

So anyway, Peter Schmeichel was born in Gladsaxe, Denmark on 18.11.63, which actually makes him 37, but in my books, he is still soooooooooooo fine! He's a towering 6'4" in height, and weighs a hell of a lot! (somewhere in the region 15-16 stone). He is currently playing for FC Sporting Lisbon, and I am, to be honest, quite gutted, as I have no contacts for him, and he is no longer on my Television screen on a weekly basis. Oh well, I have found some damn cool sites for my baby, and this is where I repay them, by linking my site to theirs, as they have shown me information I never knew before, and I would like to share my information with you!
