Little River Road Photo Gallery
These pictures were taken on a road trip down Little River Road and Panther Creek Road in Douglas County on June 3, 2001.
Today was one of those days where the sky couldn't make up its mind. Here is was overcast and the fog was hanging in the valley. The mountains here are as tall as 5530 feet.
As you can see, it is a very rural area; I drove down this gravel road for 20 miles.
The clouds are really low on the mountains here. We are getting some much needed rain this week.
All of this area is part of the Umpqua National Forest.
This is a recovering clearcut. There are wild flower all over the place.
