I have changed SO much in here! This room used to be all pink and completely shabby chic. I still love shabby chic for my bedroom, but I got tired of not being able to decorate for Christmas in reds and greens, and I wanted a more inviting feel to the downstairs portion of my house. So in came the deep reds, olive greens, golds, and dark browns.

The room's original chandelier came back but this time with a new dark brown paint job to cover up the brass. (I'd like to hang it lower, but I haven't figured out yet how to add extra wiring to make that possible.)

The old bench came down from upstairs and found a nice new home when I rotated the table longways.

I'm still working on sewing up new dark brown seat covers for the chairs in the same fabric that I reupholstered the china cabinet in. I don't think the current pattern clashes exactly, but I'm going for a more streamlined look.

Cranberries and pecans add a nice touch in the centerpiece, I think. You can see my little Christmas tree in the background. :)

Not a far cry from Charlie Brown's, but I love it. :)
