.  All three teach giving.  Christianity and Muslims accept mostly all cultures and backgrounds.  In todays age there is a large split between the two due to the war between them currently going on.  It seems some sects of Islam feel Christianity and Jews are their enemy and that they should try to kill us and they have accepted what the Catholics did hundreds of years ago during the Crusades.  So I guess there is not difference other then the time frame of the events.  However, for most of the Muslim population here in the United States it is seen as peaceful amongst the other religions.  All 3 believe in an end times scenario with many variations among them especially among the differing views of Christianity.  All of these religions have specific rituals that they perform.  Catholics perform baptism, Jews perform circumcision, Muslims pilgrimage to Mecca, Christians perform the Last Supper ceremony or Communion, several things are shared amongst Jews and Christians where others arent.  For instance the supper meal is used to remember Passover when for the most part it is exactly the same for Christians except to remember Christs command to remember Him.  Muslims have daily prayer requirements totaling 5 where Jews and Christians can pray whenever they want.  Muslims believe in salvation through Allah and Christians believe in salvation through Christ, and Jews through salvation in God.  All three believe in Heaven and Hell and all three believe in an archangel known in different names.  All three believe in sin being the downfall of man yet Christians believe that man was born perfect and fell into sin.  Where Muslims believe we were never born perfect.  Jews use sacrifices and offerings for forgiveness, Christians resort to confession or through prayer, and Muslims resort to prayer and living good lives.  Christians can eat meat, where Jews cant, and Muslims have restrictions varied amongst time of year and overall as to what kinds of meat is acceptable or not.  In conclusion there is a lot of similarities amongst the three yet also so many differences.

10.  Of all the religions we studied this semester I have found Buddhism the most fascinating and fun for me to learn about.  I guess it has a lot to do with their culture overall.  I think they are fascinating in the amount of honor they place to Buddha and that they are not bowing in worship but in honor of him.  It fascinates me the details that they give to their work and art.  I also admire their dedication and the fact that they believe in peace and lack of violence.  They have never done anything wrong and yet people still find hatred towards them which I feel is unfair.  While watching the movie Seven Years in Tibet I cannot believe the Chinese government in killing off them for doing what nothing but being peaceful.  I also remember several years ago when the Chinese did it again.  It is sad that they cant even find religious peace amongst their own native land.  While visiting their temple in Hacienda Heights I was amazed at how nice and welcoming they were.  Most of all I like the way they think towards life and treat life as a gift and not something to take for granted.
