Field trips=Visited the Buddhist Temple in Hacienda Heights.  Attempted to visit the Chino Islamic Mosque but was unable to go to the service as mentioned in e-mail to you.  So I went to my old work at American Medical Response and met up with one of my old partners who is Muslim and went to lunch with him for an hour and talked with him about his religion.  Further info in my Field Trip section.

Grade on Midterm=E-mail said I had a B+/A- in the class.

Completed readings=Completed all required readings in the class however, I did not read some of the readings posted as optional.

Recommended readings=  I would recommend all of the readings except for the False Testament article as it has lose arguments not put together well and can easily be torn apart in debate.  If one would like to debate one must present examples and must present facts along not just merely stating archaeologists believe this.  One must site their sources and who and what they studied and etc.  I loved Smiths book and feel it should be used again as well as the other articles written on the many religions and the websites listed.  Great course found much insight as the world around us and the many different cultures there are.  Absolutely fascinating.

Extra Credit=no

Grade deserved???  Well I feel I can deserve anything from a C+ to an A- depending on how you look at it.  I completed all the coursework and did all of the required reading.  Got a B+/A- on the Midterm and did the First fieldtrip.  However, my second field trip is where I had trouble as I explained to you in my e-mail about the fact the building was closed up that day unless maybe I went to the wrong place but according to my directions that was it.  And because I started a new job the next week I was unable to visit an alternative source.  So I picked an alternative that got the jest of the assignment which was experiencing the religion with a believers perspective so I had an old partner of mine when I was an EMT for AMerican Medical Response I knew was Muslim so him and I had lunch together and discussed the religion and the differences between it and Christianity as well as the common mistakes we in the US make towards them.  So I feel I deserve a B mostly since although I didnt complete the assignment to the T I did make an effort towards getting from it what you mostly wanted from us.  I hope this makes sense.
