This single was only released in Europe and to my knowledge in no other territory. It did not get a release in the UK or the USA although the US was treated to a one track CD single ESK 4640 on Epic Records. And not forgetting the fabulous and ultra rare Spanish vinyl promo 7''
I can only guess that the song wasn't deemed right for the UK market but why right for the European market is open to debate. But it was released and very soon after deleted from the Maiden catalogue. As it did not chart high in any European charts not that many copies where sold and added to the fact that not a lot of fans knew of its release all points to a nice little Maiden rarity for us fans to get.
Therefore you have a CD single that did not sell particularly well but nonetheless has turned out to be one of the most rare Maiden CDs and an essential additions to your collection.
