Greece is just not a holiday destination for us beer swelling Brits! It is home to one of the rarest and most valuable non-UK Maiden 12 inchers ever issued.
Fans generally pay more than a few dollars for this one and along side the fantastic Maiden Mania vinyl box set Greece has been gifted a couple excellent Maiden rarities.

Originally released only in Japan as a four track live EP, Live!! + One was recorded at the legendary Marquee Club in London July 1980 and these days is one of the easier Japanese vinyls to get your hands on. Women In Uniform is a studio recording. However the Greek version cannot be more different!
This version is a cracking nine tracks all recorded at the Marquee and the song titles on the back cover are in Greek/ Latin.This release is VERY difficult to get a hold of and finding a copy will not be easy.
I presume that Maiden where promoting the World Salvery Tour, as this was issued not in 1980 but in 1984, and released this as a souvenir type live record for the Greek fans and thanks to that means we have another rare record to add to our collections.

Tracks 1, 5 and 9 are available on the Japanese version as live recordings, cat no EMS 41001.

As for a value for the Greek issue, I have seen this go for over £100/ $140 whereas the Japanese version can cost around the £25/ $36.

Oh! and before I go there is also a exceptionally rare Greek only 9 track cassette available of Live!! + One cat no. 2622600484 try getting that one cheap.
