| Frieda, myself & two chipmunks The infamous Chip & Dale shot. For some reason everyone seems to find this amusing. I dunno... I have to say thank you to all those who wheeled my blistered and incapacitated carcass around in the 98 degree heat...even Meela, who took to it like a duck to water, if you will forgive the Snordle-related pun. She especially seemed to enjoy threatening to take the break off at the top of a slope and let me do a bit of free-wheeling! So, thanks to Frieda, Lorraine, Meela and Mindy who all took it in turns to push me. Getting to the front of the crowds because of my temporary disability turned out to be an added bonus! |

| Okay. I was stupid. I hate shoes and I hate feet. I particularly hate my feet. Usually I don't mind them so long as they get me from point A to point B, but on one note-worthy occasion they let me down in a major way (See picture below). I wore the wrong kind of shoes on day one. Changed to a pair of trainers that weren't properly broken in on day two and got blisters (BIG ones) so that walking was excruciating. Then half way through Monday I changed again to my comfy shoes which I wore without socks in 98 degree heat. Result: my shoe soles melted and stuck to the bottom of my feet, leaving me able to hobble at best. |
| Things have certainly slipped since Ben Kenobi's day... I mean, those pesky Jawas get everywhere! You can't even take a walk in Mos Eisley these days without them trying to sell you the latest bit of junk! And this was only the Star Tours set and not Tatooine, funnily enough! I'm not sure the waste bin is authentic but everything else was fantastic. And if you see any used-droid sellers: remind them what happened in Episode 4... |
