After viewing some of the most horrendous acts I have ever witnessed in this country on television this morning I felt compelled to add this page to our website. It will be in the form of a journal and I will add to it as the Lord leads me. Some people may find what I have to say at times controversial, and some may not agree with me at all, but for me to sit back and say nothing would make me no better then the world with their "intellectual and socially correct" thinking. Many churches today are preaching ecology, social reform, civil rights, and world peace. Where these are critical issues for everyone, they are not the gospel committed to the Church. The church can not sugar coat the gospel so as not to ruffle any feathers, to be politically correct just to keep everyone happy. The bible tells us "For there is going to come a time when people won't listen to the truth, but will go around looking for teachers who will tell them what they want to hear. They won't listen to what the Bible says, but will blithely follow their own misguided ideas" (2 Timothy 4:3, 4) The time has come as we hear more and more about a one world faith teaching everything is okay, you can live any way you choose as long as you aren't hurting anyone else it is ok. Well it is not Okay! I do not want anyone to take my word for what is said here, but to please have an open mind and go to God's word the Bible and check it out for yourself. But you will not find easy, sugar coated, feel good words. For many years I would take the easy road, not wanting to upset anyone or draw attention to myself, or heaven forbid have people think I was one of those "Jesus Nuts" But the bible talks about luke warm christians and how God will spit them out. I do not want to be a luke warm christian!
