| Viewmaster The form is that of a cartridge for a children's image viewing toy, the "View-Master." After reading about a downwinder's childhood, I juxtaposed these pictures of their childhood onto the toy to create the contrast of innocence against unjustice. |

| Heroine Sweetheart Societal expectations for women were in flux durring and after WWII. During the war, women were encouraged to work outside the home and be independant heroine figures. After the war, women were to stay inside the home and be dependants while performing the role of sweetheart, wife and mother. |
