My Routine

I wrote the paragraphs below when I first built this page. Since May 2002 I have gained hardly any length. This may be because I have reached my full potential, but I decided it could also be because my routine was too unvarying. Having read up about LOT (loss of tugback) theory, it seemed what I needed to do was more stretching, particularly above my LOT position. So that's what I'm now doing. I still feel jelqing is a good all-round exercise for the penis, but now I incorporate stretching. A lot of commercial routines recommend stretching and jelqing as separate exercises, but I find that if I stretch continuously, I get lots of blood spots and a very swollen glans. So I stretch and jelq in rotation. I stretch upwards for a count of 10, doing Kegels against the stretch as in the routine below. Then I'll do a dozen or so jelq strokes to redistribute the blood and stretch to one side. Some more jelq strokes, stretch to the other side. Jelq some more, and stretch either straight down, or do a BTC (between the cheeks) stretch. I do cycles like this with a longer period of jelqing after the downward stretch before starting on the upward stretch again.

Initial results are encouraging. My penis is certainly feeling the strain, and it feels like I'm growing again. I'm going to measure again soon - I'm deliberately holding off doing this for a few weeks so as not to be too disapointed if there's still no progress.

My original routine:

My routine is very simple. I try to jelq for 30 minutes a day, 5 days on, 2 days off. I try to hotwrap for 5-10 minutes beforehand, and wash off in hot water afterward. Lately time has become tighter so I don't always have time for this routine, so I tend to shower, jelq and then wash off.

I do Kegels whenever I remember to do them, mainly sitting at my desk at work. On a good day I may do a couple of hundred, but I need to do more, really, to make my ejaculations more forceful.

I do a little, but very little stretching, mainly after peeing. I stretch it out and do Kegels to pull back against the stretch, maybe 10 or so. If there is someone else in the next stall, I pass - I'm not a toilet exhibitionist !

I use a lube like Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion (except a cheaper supermarket own-brand), starting off with a blob roughly the size of a grape. This tends to last most of the session, revived when it dries out by wetting my hands a little. Occasionally it needs topping up with another small blob every now and then.

I use a classic palm-down, thumb towards abdomen grip mainly, alternating occasionally with a few strokes palm-up. I don't use a full tourniquet hand much of the time, unless I have gone very soft, but I tend to brace against my abdomen with the free hand - as you can see in the video elsewhere on the site. I try to keep strokes long and slow to keep up a good stretch.

I don't masturbate to orgasm after jelqing, although I admit at the beginning of my programme I did, but that phase soon passed and now the desire to consolidate my gains is sufficient to provide the willpower to resist that urge. I do masturbate quite a lot at other times though - seemingly without ill-effect ;-) I do, however, work myself up to full erection for a few minutes at the end of a jelqing session to savour the feeling of maximum engorgement that 30 minutes of solid jelqing provides. Then I go and wash off and get on with the day (I jelq mainly in the mornings).

I jelq from about 40% to 80% erection, which tends to come and go during a session. I vary my position to maintain a comfortable level of stiffness, allowing for a good stretch and engorgement without pain or any dangerous dilation of blood vessels. I find jelqing sitting down leads to more hardness, standing, particularly with one foot raised - resting on the bed or the side of the bath etc. - diminishes it, so it is possible to maintain a comfortable degree of hardness throughout. If I find I'm getting too hard I'll stop and slap my penis against my leg a few times, although I don't do this as regular punctuation in my jelqing, as many programmes recommend. I don't feel I'm putting too much of a strain on my member - my glans doesn't ever get very dark during jelqing, and certainly never cold. I do give it a few seconds off from time to time though :-)

One of the questions people have asked me is "Is jelqing all you do?" - well, with the few exceptions noted above, yes it is. I think the time spent has been worth it though. I believe the length of the sessions, especially early on, was probably responsible for my gains. I know many guys can only spend a few minutes a day and I wouldn't discourage them but I know since my time for jelqing has diminished my gains have slowed proportionately. I do still seem to be making slow progress though, so I'm not giving up yet! Who knows how far I can go - instinct suggests not much further - until then I'm going to carry on out of curiosity and desire to have an ever bigger penis :-D.
