Previous Instruments Played: When he has time, Rob likes to play the piano. He used to take classical lessons when he was younger and was forced to keep going.

Previous bands: LP isn't Rob's 1st band, he started playing in bands when he was 13. He did covers of songs like Nirvana's 'Smells like Teen Spirit' with his friends. Then he met Brad, they played for about a year. Their band was called 'Relative Degree', they played rock meets rap and funk. They practiced heaps and had one show, after that show they broke up.

- Brad says that LP watch videos of themselves playing and that Rob never plays a part wrong, but he'll always point out something if its not up to par. Rob is the practice-perfect technical guru of the band.

- In some interview one of the members of Linkin Park stated that Rob went to high school with Incubus, however they also stated that Rob went to Agoura high school which Incubus did not go to. Incubus went to Calabasas high school - Calabasas was the town Rob grew up in so that may be where the initial confusion arised.  

- Most of LP most likely did attend school with most of Hoobastank, who went to Agoura High School. Mike, Rob and Brad even played some shows in the lead singer of Hoobastank's backyard.

- Here's what Shiri Appleby said about Rob when asked who she thought would win the "Best Video of the Year" award for 2002 MTV awards (I believe): "I know exactly who's going to win. And the winner of the Best Video of the Year is going to be Linkin Park ("In the End"). Because my first date ever was with [Linkin Park drummer] Rob Bourdon in 7th grade."

- Rob says Princess Jasmine is the cartoon character that represents him best because him and Phoenix are like a team in the band, being on bass and drums. so he's be Princess jasmine cos they fit together.
