School: Chester went to Greenway High School, but then he changed schools and graduated at Washington High School in 1994.

Jobs: he played in a band called 'Grey Daze' before joining LP. He used to work as a coffee barista in a coffee house.

Favourite bands: Depeche Mode, Stone Temple Pilots.... Chester has every Madonna album

Inspiration: Chester's idols are Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots) and Rob Plant (Led Zeppelin). Who inspired him most was the band Stone Temple Pilots, who he knows of because of his older brother. The first album that made an impression on Chester was the Misfits.

Previous Instruments Played: Chester's 1st instrument played was the piano. He will never part with his guitar.

Tattoos: Chester has 10 tattoos:
1. upper left arm - (Pisces) This was Chester's 1st tattoo
2. upper back - (6 arms spread out) Done by Chester's friend Derick, it was his interpretation of what Chester looks like onstage. 
3. lower back - (Linkin Park lettering in old English) Chester made a bet that if LP went Platinum he would get his lower back done for free.
4. upper right arm - (Japanese Coi Fish) Chester designed this himself
5. lower left calf - (Hybrid Theory Soldier) Chester's friend Dee did this piece for free.
6 & 7. right and left arms - (Flames) This is Chester's favourite piece. They have the same theme as his upper arms (fish and ocean creatures) which represent his sign of Pisces (water), and because he was born on 20th March, the Cusp of Aries (fire) the used both in his design.  
8. Right Calf - (Dragon) Chester was born on the year of the dragon, so he wanted a dragon on his right calf. Chester says that this dragon, "is on [his] wife's ass, but 42 times the size."
9. Right finger on left hand - (Engagement band) Chester and Samantha had these rings tattooed onto their fingers because at the time they got them done Chester didnt have enough money to afford the real thing, and since the tattoo artist is his friend he could get them done for free.
10. Pinkie finger on right hand - (Birthstone in gold ring) This was given to Chester as a gift for his 21st birthday.

On Chester:
Chester has a carrying-kit cargo case for his wardrobe, he has shoes to go with every outfit, his underwear has to match his clothes, his socks have to match his shoes and his pants. This is a very big deal to him.

When Chester goes to airports he has to take off all his all his metal spike bracelets and jewelry.  He has a case that he has to arrange them in the same order every time. He takes them off in a certain order too.

Chester wears glasses, but he takes them off for shows so they wont fall off while he is singing. Without them on he cant see past the front row. (He's now had eye surgery to fix this problem).

Tattoos - Chester is picky when it comes to his tattooist
- He got his 1st tattoo when he was 18
- His tattoos tell a story and have meaning to him

Music - Chester used to enjoy hip hop music when he was 10 - 14, before getting into punk rock.

- When Chester was 13 he practiced singing until his throat hurt and until he could sing as good as he can today.

- Chester's top 5 albums are: 1) Fugazi, 13 Songs. 2) Al Green, Greatest Hits. 3) Led Zeppelin, IV. 4) The Beatles, the White Album. 5) Stone Temple Pilots, Purple.

- Chester's brother taught him to sing 'Hot blooded' when he was 2 and learning to talk and taped him when he was doing it. This tape is still somewhere but he says its lost. He told a kid about this because he had nothing clever to say and is amazed that everyone around the world now knows about it and everyone asks about it. 

- Chester did a song with DJ Lethal (Limp Bizkit) as well as the Visionaries. As of 18/4/03 they have still not been released anywhere. Chester also did a song with Cyclefly, called 'Karma Killer' which is on Cyclefly's cd and sang a song written by Jonathan Davis called "System" which is on the Queen of the Damned Soundtrack.

- Chester had a couple of friends commit suicide when he was growing up. "I also lost a friend in a tragic freak skateboarding accident. He was skateboarding down this little hill, hit a pebble and hit his head just right, and it was over. It can happen to you a million times when you're a kid, you fall down and hit your head - he just happened to hit the wrong spot."
