Tie a stopper bead and string 5 seeds one 4mm and one seed. |
Pass needle back through the 4mm bead and pull tight. |
Add 5 seeds one 4mm and one seed, Pass needle back through the 4mm bead and pull
tight. |
Repeat this until you have 16 4 mm beads connected. |
Join the star by connecting it to the first set of 5 seeds. Pass the needle through
all the beads in that set, exit at the single seed at the end. |
This is a little tricky because it may want to turn on you. Slowly pull the circle
together. Then pass the needle through all of the center seeds.( you may have
to go around the middle one more time for it to hold in place well). Weave in the thread ends. |
This came to me while doing the bottom of an ormament. It finished the
bottom off nicely and can be made with more or less points. |
