Start with some 3/4 inch wide elastic. I purchased this kind at Walmart by the yard
in the trim department. It works well because the ribs act as guides for the
beads. |
Measure a length that fits around your wrist comfortably. Sew the ends together to
form a band. Bring needle through to the front of the band exiting out of one
of the ribs near the edge of the cuff. String on about 8-9 size
8/0 beads. If the beads are irregular you may want to
measure them for each row by laying them across the elastic to be sure the fill
in the width of the band. |

Cover the entire band with beads by using the ribs as guides for to keep the rows
straight . |

Finish off the sides by doing a whip stitch around the edge. Add three size 11/0
beads every time the needle passes to the top of the band. Continue this down both
sides. |
