Macavity- There's a theory that one of the reasons why Jerrie might work for Macavity is because Macavity is his father, with some unknown, nameless queen. It would make sense, and he does bare some resemblence to the Napolean of Crime. I've seen productions where he looks like a miniture Macavity. I can believe this one and more often then not it is the one I believe.
Macavity/Demeter- For the exact same reasons above, only Demeter is the mother. I can totally see this as well, because there are hints of both Macavity and Demeter in his coat. And Demeter is a bit leery around him. Almost like Jerrie doesn't know he's her son, or something. I can believe this, and I like reading stories with this theory.
Growltiger/Griddlebone-Theres also a theory that he is the son of Growltiger and Griddlebone. This could also explain how he got mixed up working for Macavity, and he does look an awful lot like the pair. I could completely see and believe this as well.
Jennyanydots/Skimbleshanks-Mainly for the fact that he's pretty close to Jennyanydots during some of the plays, and a bit close to Skimble as well. He also sort of, even if it's only a little bit, looks like a mixture of the two of them.
Any other theories are unknown, or his parents are dead, that sort of thing. If you have a different theory to Jerrie's parents, email it to me, and I'll add it up here.
Profile
Mungojerrie, has one song and a few solos starting from the prologue. His song is rather a duet with Rumpleteazer, but it's still speculated whether they are mates, twins, siblings, best friends, or simply partners in crime. Most believe, although he appears to be older then a lot of the other cats, that he is too young to have any actual kittens of his own. He is speculated to be good friends with Rumpleteazer, Mistoffelees, Rum Tum Tugger, and Pouncival. Aside from Rumpleteazer, I haven't come across too many 'sibling' theories. Except that Etcetera could be the cute younger sister of Mungojerrie, or that he is the younger brother of Coricopat and Tantomile. Other then that, not much of anything. He interacts with most of all of the cats during the whole production of the show. He does disappear at some point to get into his little 'shirt' for his and Teazer's song. By the time of the Jellicle Ball, (Where they all dance with no singing), Teazer and him are out of those extra things they wear, and are back into their regular costumes from what they wore in the Prologue. Mungojerrie is also to be rumored to work for Macavity, or so Demeter says in 'Macavity's Song'. He being a theif and all might explain why he ended up working for Macavity, if that is in fact what he does; it's only a rumor. Still the fact that he does and Rumpleteazer does not, may also indicate that Mungojerrie is a better theif, and may be a better theif because he is older then her. This however, is only speculation. He doesn't have much of a part aside from his song, but he is still one of the fan favorites. Then again, why wouldn't he be?
Rumpleteazer- This one is well a lot like the Misto/Victoria thing. However, he and Teazer look an awful lot alike, leaving most to beleive that the two are related as siblings, or at the very least cousins. Still, there is a lot of evidence to prove that perhaps they really are mates, since they sure act like it. Personally, I like these two together, this pair is close to my second favorite pairing for him. I personally believe that these two are not related, but that's just me.
Bombalurina- There is no real evidence to this couple, Though I'm sure the scarlett queen has flirted with him from time to time. Mungojerrie is quite a catch. This is a fandom pairing, however, a small fandom pairing. Though there is a lot of fan fan of this pairing, and have argued as to why these two make an excellent pair. I must say, it definitely opened my eyes to this pair, and this is definitely my second favorite pairing for him.
Victoria- This one is most likely my own wacky theory, but I beleive I hace met some supporters of this pairing, and have read some stories of these two together. They have also been spotted flirtting with one another in some productions. This one is all speculation, opinions, and fandom. I think this has great potential. I like the sound of these two together and wish there were more stories with these two out there. It's not one of my favorites, but I think they'd compliment one another quite well.
Jemima- Now there's not much to back up this pairing, but I do know of quite a few productions where these two do flirt, and I think a couple productions where they are together during the mating dance. One thing I like about these two, is that whenever they are together, they're always all over each other, and very frisky. I like the sound of this couple, and wish there were more stories of these two out there.
Exotica- These two are completely and utterly fandom. I don't even think the two look at each other in the video, but I still think the two are adoreable. Their complete opposites. Shy, quiet, anti-social, compared to outgoing, loud, and a real jokster. I've put these two together in quite a few stories, and for some reason...they just seem to work. I think they're cute. And This is definitely my favorite pairing for him.
Tantomile- Again, there's litte if any indication that these two show any interest in each other. Surprisingly I have found some parts in the video where Jerrie tries to get closer to her, but she doesn't really want anything to do with him. So this is purely fandom. I'd still think they'd be cute. And have read some fanfiction about the two of them.
