Old Deuteronomy- This one I think is mainly speculation, I'm not sure if I even read this in a story. Anywho, Misto is the one who always returns Old Deuteromony, and just always seems to try to do things in hopes Deuteronomy will notice. I can actually beleive this one even though they don't look alike.
Jellylorum/Bustopher Jones- This one was interesting, but appearance wise it totally works. Not so much personality wise, he's shy but his 'parents' are not at all shy. Then again, Misto does come out of his shell (So to speak) at the end of the play. Anyhow, I can totally beleive this one, too.
Tantomile/Coricopat- This one was hard to wrap my head around, but there are beleivers of this one. It's just ...I think Misto, Tantomile, and Coricopat are all the same age. Though it would explain where Misto got his powers. Plus appearance wise it works. Still, I don't beleive this, and perhaps he is just their younger brother.
Bustopher Jones- Thisone is not so much his dad, but rather his uncle. I can totally believe this one. Mainly because they look really similar, and they even show some family related affection to one another. ^.^ I tend to agree with this one more often than any other theory.
-Siblings-
Victoria- I know, most people put them together as a couple, but I don't agree with that. I truly and seriously agree that these two are siblings. They don't act like a couple in productions.(There is only one I know of that they did act like a couple) The two act like they a brother/sister, and they do look a like. Even if they don't act like that then they are only friends, in my opinon. I believe this one more often than not.
Jemima- This is another one that I can beleive, maybe not all the time and certainly not in all productions, but I can beleive this one. They both have similar personalities, and they look incredibly similar. I don't agree with this all the time, but I can totally hop on board with this.
Alonzo- This is another one that I can beleive. (Well Black and White Alonzo Version) In many productions it is speculated that Alonzo, Misto, and Victoria were siblings. I can see this really, but I don't agree with it. Still, I wouldn't mind reading about it.
Those are the only theories I have come across of parents and siblings. Poor thing. Though in one production, he and Cassandra look awfully similar, so could be speculated as brother/sister. Plus I have come across that he was a stray; abandoned, his parents were dead, or his parents already went up to the heavyside layer. Even some Macavity theories, though I don't think that works (Age wise) at all.
His Profile:
He is the same throughout the world, Black Tuxedo tom. Though it's hard to tell in some productions, but yes for the most part he's the same. He usually hangs around his friends, Tantomile, Coricopat, Cassandra, Tumblebrutus, Pouncival, and Rum Tum Tugger. Though he does tend to hang around most of the jellicles. He has quite a few solo's, but not as many as he used to. He used to sing both Mungojerrie & Rumpleteazer's song, as well as his own. Now he doesn't. He tries very much to be center of attention, but always seems to be at the wrong time. He finally gets his attention when he brings back the jellicle leader, Old Deuteronomy. I think they really cut back on his part in the show, but he's still a cutie to watch. However, I do not know why he has all these fan girls going ga-ga over him. I'm not really a huge fan of Misto, and I just don't see why all these people make such a big deal of him. Is it just because of the conjouring turn? Because let me tell you anyone whose gone through all those dance lessons would be able to do it. Anyway, don't ge me wrong, I still like Misto. He is one of the jellicles that gets changed a lot (I'm not talking about clothes), because of his denamding dance role, though I think Macavity's part is pretty 'strength' demanding and wonder if they have to change his role as often or nearly as often as Misto's.
Victoria-This one is obvious, extremely speculated and more often than not in fanfiction. These two have a uh unique chemistry on stage and in the video. These two can be seen together quite often in many productions, yet he doesn't dance the mating dance with her. (There are a few that I know of where these two dance the mating dance together) Plus these two are in fanfiction, a LOT! I don't exactly agree with this couple, mainly because I think of these two more as siblings. Still I don't mind reading stories of them.
Electra- This one is in both speculation and in Fandom. See for the productions that Electra is in(Since she is not in all of them), most of the time she and him will be together for the mating dance. Plus in most productions these two seem to flirt a lot. This one is in many stories. I really can't see these two together either, but I still like reading about them, and think they are kind of cute together.
Tantomile- This one is speculated, though its a stretch, and is mainly in Fandom. This two have some wierd bond, mainly because they are both on the shy side, and fans speculate that the two have some form of mystical powers. Usually Tantomile with some wierd telepathy, and Misto with his conjouring powers. This one is in fanfiction, but not as much. This is my favorite pairing for him.
Cassandra- This is in both speculation and in fanfiction. She is usually the queen that he picks to help bring back the missing Old Deuteronomy. Not in all productions, but in most. So she is like the magician's assistant, right? Well the magician and his assistant having a nice love affair, sounds kinda of 'romantic', doesn't it. This my second favorite pairing for him.
Exotica- This one is mainly fandom, and really has no real evidence to it at all. Although, there is a part where Misto spots Xottie off to the side and goes towards her. However the camera zoomed in on something else, so whether the interacted is really speculation (Stupid camera). I think these two are paired up mainly because they are both mysterious, and shy. This is probably my second favorite pairing for him.
He is sometimes mated with Jemima in Fandom as well, but really not enough to put up here. Though I did just want to throw that out to you. (Better to get all the imformation, theories, and interpretations. That's what this site is for, ne?)
