| She doesn't have too many theories about who her parents are, but that's most likely because she is a young adult queen: Grizabella- People, well some people, believe that Grizabella is the mother of Bombalurina, Demeter, and Jemima. I don't think so, I mean, Grizabella doesn't really look like them, unless the three queens all had different fathers. But all three of them do have a significant reaction to the old cat, so that may be something. Old Deuteronomy- Yes, there are a few who beleive that her father was the jellicle leader(with so many mates, I wouldn't be surprised) with an unknown mother. Old Deuteronomy must've had a way with the ladies to have so many mates, and Bomba does have a way with the toms. Still, Tugger is most defiantely a son of Old Deuteronomy, and since they flirt and could be mated in some productions, it'd be like mating with your half brother/sister, ew. Jennyanydots/Skimbleshanks- There are theories that these two are the parents of Bomb, Deme, and Jemmie. Are you CRAZY?! The three queens don't look like those two at all. And Jenny and Skimble probably aren't that much older than Bomb and Deme anyway. I highly disagree with this! -There are of course other theories that her parents were not part of the junkyard and she was a stray, or her parents have already traveled up to the heavyside layer. Her Profile Bombalurina is mainly a red calico, with a white bib. (Though it doestend to differ, see pictures for different costumes. Like she can be black and white, or even a gold colored queen) She hangs around her friends which usually are Demeter, Cassandra, Jellylorum, and Tantomile. It is speculated that her and Demeter are either best friends or sisters. (I beleive both are plausible) It is also debated on whether or not Bomba has kittens. People tend to think that Jemima isher daughter and even sometimes that Electra is her daughter. She is perceived as being a young adult in the tribe, though I'm sure that can differ from different productions, as well. She is one of the main characters seeing as how she has several solo's starting with the Prolouge. Though Demeter warns everyone of Macavity, Bombalurina(in most productions) does tend to get paranoid and run around the yard just like Demeter. (Hinting that perhaps Bomba had once had a bad relationship with Macavity as well. Just not to the extent of Demeter.) Bomba at first doesn't know how to react to Grizabella, but is one of the main jellicles to be real nasty to her. She sings along with Demeter about Macavity, and can almost always be seen next to her or protecting her. She also sings with Jellylorum and Jennyanydots about Bustopher Jones, and usually gets jealous of Jennyanydots, at the end of the song. Like I said on the left panel, at the end of the production (You're watching) her mate differs. And most of the time she doesn't have a mate at the end, leaving the audience wondering who she belongs with. However, she wants to have fun at the jellicle ball and flirts with every tom she can to ensure that she does have fun. |

| She has been around, but I will only put the main toms she is paired with, and I'll include 'fandom' as well: Munkustrap- She and him are mated in many productions, the more known one is the United States of America production. Although she does flirt with most toms in all production's, her heart seems to belong to him(In most productions)The two do look very good together, you've got to admit that. This is my favorite pairing for her. Rum Tum Tugger- She and him flirt soooo much in each and every production. (It never fails. Though It's not like I've seen every production, so don't take my word for it.) Because they flirt together alot in most productions, it has led fans to speculate that they are mates. Of course, the two could just be flirting with each other, that's what they are, they are flirts. I strongly disagree with this couple, for one thing they are WAY too much alike. And I don't know about you, but I've been in a relationship like that and it didn't last long enough to be considered a relationship. Alonzo- I beleive she and him are mated in some productions, it was in Europe, but I'm not sure which ones. Although she does flirt with many toms, in every production that I know of, in the certain ones I'm talking about her heart seems to belong to Alonzo. Geez, what is it with Bomba and Deme? They always seem to mix and match their mates in the different productions. I don't really like them, but I wouldn't mind reading a story about them. Plato- Now there's no real evidence to this pairing, because sadly, Plato is always in the shadows and it's difficult to know who his mate is(Even though he mates with Victoria in most productions) Still, Plato is alot like Tugger and flirts with many queens in the background. (Bomba being one of them) Plus in a more recent production, Plato has been seen being very protective of Demeter, and Bombalurina.(I have not seen it, unfortunately, but its still debated on whether he's her brother or mate in that said production) MungoJerrie- Alright, there's no real evidence to this couple either, though I'm sure Bomba has flirted with him or has had some relationship with him. But this is a fandom pairing, though it's not that big of a pairing. Still, there are alot of fans of this pairing, and have discussed why these two would be good together. It was pretty good, and pretty cute. This is probably my second favorite pairing for her. Pouncival- This is mostly one sided. Mainly, Pouncival has this wierd crush on Bombalurina and tries everything to get her attention. In the video she even 'mates' with him during the courtship dance. There have been other productions where these two have been seen together during the courtship dance. However, I still beleive that he's just crushing on her, and she gives him some attention. It's still cute to watch though. |
