Jellylorum/Asparagus Jr.-Now I can believe this. Appearance wise, he looks alot like them, he is a wonderful blend between them. Not to mention, Jelly does pay attention to him alot during Mistoffelees song. He is also seen with Asparagus Jr. quite a few times, in a fatherly sort of way, but sometimes as a friendly gesture. However, "according" to the video, I beleive Jelly and Aspargus Jr., to be siblings. (For more info go to Jelly's page) So since I beleive them to be siblings, then I don't beleive in this theory.
Gus(Old Gus)- There are some theories that Admetus is the youngest son of Old Gus. Admetus does look alot like Gus with fur pattern's and colors. He is also very animated and extremely funny, a great start to becoming an actor. (Note: Admetus did play Fire Fore Fiddle in the video, as a 'young' Gus.) Plus, that would make him the brother of Jelly and Asparagus Jr. And although some people beleive that those are his parents, I could definately see them as his older siblings. I don't think I really beleive this theory either, but I could totally jump on board with it, if I ever read it in a fanfiction story.
Old Deuteronomy- Now this theory is interesting. He does look alot like Old Deuteronomy(At least in the video, and it is said that Old Deuteronomy has many kids). I mean if you watch during Gus, and Skimble's song, Admetus is sitting with Old Deuteronomy, and the leader is very affectionate to the tom. Not to mention it reaffirms how much they look alike. This would also mean that Munk, Tugger, (Sometimes Alonzo & sometimes Plato) would be his brothers. And if you do watch carefully those five toms(including Admetus) spend much of their time together, whether it be in the jellicle ball, or randomly throughout the video. So "According" to the video, I can beleive this theory. (Not in other productions, per say, but in the video) And this is the theory I beleive.(In the Video. Though in my stories he is always a stray)
There are of course other theories, not many since poor Admetus doesn't have too many fans, but I love him, he's a close second to my favorite tom spot. Mainly, the other theories are he was a stray, his parents traveled up to the heavyside layer, and even some Jenny/Gus Jr, believers as well.

(Going by the video again) He is a brown and Silver tabby tom.(Though not like Munkustrap, since his stripes are thinner and closer together, but that's still tabby marking) He also has white in his fur. His coat is actually one of the most complicated patterns, of the guys, in my opinion anyway. He usually hangs around his friends Plato, Tumble, Pounce, Tugger, Alonzo, and Munkustrap. (Though some of those cats could very well be siblings.)There is also a weird theory that Admetus is gay, and is in love with Plato. Now I just beleive that they are best friends, but I'm not opposed to the gay jellicle pairings like some people, I actually love reading about them, and wouldn't mind reading a story about Admetus and Plato. He is a background cat, there to balance out the singing, and is not noticed that much. :( He is a very funny cat, and makes the best faces, I love watching him over and over again. He is best seen as playing Rumpus Cat, and he also plays Fire Fore Fiddle in Gus' song.
Cassandra- He clearly dances with her in the video during the first part of the jellicle ball, and can be seen flirting with her in various other parts of the video production. Seeing as how Plato and Admetus tend to be the same character, just called one or the other name, all these pairings will be based on the video. This is my favorite pairing for Admetus.
Exotica- It's not seen very well, but these two are always nuzzling each other or they are rubbing against each other. One clear picture is during Skimble's song, where the two have an intimate body rub. It is really cute. And it fits, seeing as how they were both technically created just for the video. She's a close second...
Etcetera- These two would be cute together. I mean she's crazy, he's a comical genius. Dude, if you watch Admetus closely, he does some really funny things. Plus Admetus always seems to be near her. He helps her when she's on the trapeeze, he 'mates' with her during the courtship dance, and he even flirts with her during Mistoffelees song. These two would definately be cute together, this is my second favorite pairing for him.
Electra- Now there's no real evidence to this pairing, though I have read this pairing in fandom. Besides is there any real evidence to any of these pairings? (The poor tom) But I have seen these two flirt in the video during the jellicle ball. Though the stories were cute, I just can't see them together.
Jemima- Again, no real proof to this pairing, but the two have been seen flirting and snuggling in the background of the video and some productions. (Of course in those said productions he's Plato, but is Admetus, it's all so confusing, anyway) I don't know if these two would work together, I think they would definately clash.
Tantomile- No proof to this either, but it's no surprise. Admetus is always in the background hard to spot, and Tantomile rarely ever leaves her brother's side(Coricopat). I know some make her and Coricopat out to be mates, but I beleieve they are siblings, I mean come on, their markings are identical. Anyway, I think her Admetus, though both in shadows, might be an interesting pair to read about. I dont like them together, and can't see them together, but I'd still think it would be an intereseting match none-the-less.
Plato- Now this is a very odd pairing. I don't usually put the 'slash' pairings up here, but I am not biased and against slash pairings like most people. I still only beleive these two to be best friends, but this certain couple has definately grown on me. People say that they are jellicle cats, so can't be gay, and yet they write cats who have 'soul-mate's' like as if these characters were human. So if you are going to write them like this, then they could very well be gay. I might add a slash pairing friendly page or something. But this would definately be my favorite 'slash' pairing.
