Andrew was born in 1948 and is still alive. He is a British composer, won fame for his rock musical Jesus Christ Superstar! in 1970 the words were written by Tim Rice. Andrew and Rice also collaborated on other musicals , including: Joseph & the amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat (1968)
and Evita! (staged in 1978) These works helped create renewed interests in British Musicals. Andrew also compossed music for Song and DAnce (1982), Starlight Express (1983), Aspects of Love(1989)
and Sunset Boulevard in 1993.
Andrew was born in London into a musiacl family. His father, William Lloyd Webber 1914-1982 became a director of the London College of Music in 1964. His Brother, Jullian Llyoyd Webber is a brilliant cellist.
In addition to his stage work Andrew wrote film scores for Gumshoe and Odessa File.
