Who Am I?

To Kim

Who am I to know Your truth
To even so presume
To understand whats so much higher
Thats known only as You

And who am I to try to know
What others never find
Believing that I alone can know
All thats in Your mind

Ive hurt and been hurt, cut and bled
In my own arrogance
And wounded friends and lost that trust
Which worth is so intense

Im so confused, I feel so lost
And I think that its Your will
To teach me to have ears to hear, eyes to see,
Heart and mind that You can fill

So I lay down my own beliefs,
My arrogance and pride
And vow to shape my life by
The words that You confide
