Topsy Turvy

Right is left
Up is down
Life is topsy turvy
What I saw
What I see
Is upside down and blurry
Everything
Once shown to me
Is turned upon its head, now
All the things
I thought were real
Are seen as false instead, now

My life, not what Ive made it
So far s been made for me
The world aint really upside down
No, this s reality

Right is wrong
Weak is strong
Short is ten feet tall
What used to mean
The world to me
Aint important now at all
Everything
Once shown to me
Is turned upon its head, now
All the things
I thought were big
Are seen as small instead, now

My life, I don't deserve it
But even still giv'n to me
To take and build a little house
Built on uncertainty

No place to build
No place to stand
No place for my head to lay
All I know to do
With my little life
Is give it back away

But when the right path
Ain't the one
To where I wanna go
I find myself
Sittin' upside down
Know nothin' of what I know
