A Musa Oblectata: A Woman A Mused

On nights like these
I understand
And all alone
I feel the life
In all my limbs
My flesh awake
Each tiny hair
Quivring with buried fire
Each inch of skin
Latent, dormant
Awaiting only hands
Two hands
Upon my back
Graze my arms
And brush my neck
To stir up the sleeping
Fire inside me
And only a touch
To take me fully
To own me completely.
On nights like these
I understand
How wise You are
And wish You werent.
