Wilson>Frankenstein, Didn't I see this in Cinci? It was even better this time. Access Me is just a bad song all around, I don't think it helped that Mike forgot the words. Ya Mar was pretty much the usual stuff. Simple was another lyrical mess. I think at this point I figured out how stoned Mike was. He kept looking over at Page and Trey with this grin on his face every time he would mess something up. He just seemed like a person who was baked. Divided Sky was not what I was thinking was coming next, but it did and it ruled. The pause lasted almost 2 minutes while Mike tied his shoe. The Sloth was rockin, sounded like Mike was playing a Bass line from Hendrix song.Free uhhh ok. Page took over for the last 2 songs of the set. They were beautiful as expected.
Possum rocked Fee was just ok, nothing special. That stinks because I love Fee. Moma Dance was a funk fest, they must have jammed that fucker out for 20 plus minutes with lots of Ghost teases. Gumbo was quick and funky. The 2001 was more funk, Mike had his shit together by this point. These 3 songs made up for the stoner who played bass in the first set.
Taste Limb Taste was Fishmans turn to show off. That always sounded like a natural to me, and bam it was perfect. The best part of the entire show! Prince Caspian was solid, with Trey sounding pretty damn good. Wow! Crosstown Traffic, what a blast.
No Quarter was great, dark, scary and whatever else you want to call it. Odd choice as an encore.
Overall, damn good show. Cant wait for LP download
