Tattoo Informtion

The life of your tattoo depends on the care it receives in the first few days. Keep the tattoo covered with the bandage for at least two hours. After this time, remove the bandage. It the gauze sticks, wet the area with warm water, and then remove the gauze carefully. Wash it thoroughly with soap and water. Be sure to remove all surface blood and rinse off all soap. Lightly pat dry.

  • Do NOT rebandage tattoo.
  • Do NOT apply Vasoline or Petroleum jelly.
  • Do NOT apply alcohol.
  • Do NOT pick or scratch tattoo.

Tattoos will heal faster and look better, if, with clean hands, you apply a very light coat of A & D Ointment a minimum of three times a day. This ointment can be purchased at any drug store. If a rash occurs, discontinue use. The use of Bacitracin and Neosporin are discouraged because a large number of people who have allergic reactions to these products.

  • Do NOT let tattoo dry out.
  • Do NOT expose to sunlight for 2 weeks.
  • Do NOT swim for one week.
  • Do NOT soak in sauna, steam, or tub for one week.

The tattoo will develop a layer of dry skin. Let this skin fall off naturally. After the skin has falled off, there will be a period of adjustment. It is advisable to apply a hand lotion. The tattoo is your responsibility after you leave the shop. USE COMMON SENSE.
