Clutch was one of my favorite characters from the comic book. Sadly, I never owned one as a kid. I got the "Mega-Marine" version in college. About the same time I repainted Blast-Off I made my Clutch figure. I ditched the armored arms and legs and replaced them with those from an extra Pathfinder. I tryed to add stubble on his face, he always had a facial shadow in the comic, but it just never looked right. Oh well, I'm still happy to have a Clutch. Oh, by the way, his original colors were neon-orange, yellow, and puke green swirl with yellow. YUCK!

Blast-Off was a part of the "Mega-Marines" line from the early 1990's. Like all the figures from this series, the sculpts were awesome but, the colors just GROSS!!! Until I repainted him, his colors were blue, red, neon-orange, and swirl grey-white-black camo. Since I liked the figure sculpt I gave it a more 'military' look. Turned out decent, I think.
This was one of my first customs.
