| Never before had Ryanna felt butterflies in her stomach like this. Her dream was either about to come true, or be lost forever. There she sat, in the audience of the final show of Tough Enough 3, at The World in New York City, along with the entire cast. Ryanna was 25 years old, 5�6 and 145 pounds. She had brown shoulder length hair with blonde highlights and blue eyes. She grew up in southern Vermont, and had wrestled throughout high school. There, she captured two straight state and New England championships. She had been training her entire life for this. It had been nine weeks since Ryanna had joined the cast of Tough Enough 3, and now was her moment of glory. Four cast members remained, Ryan Barrows, Brady Chamberlain, Kat Wilkins, and Ryanna Kensington. There could only be two winners. That meant that two of the four finalists would walk away with a WWE Contract, the other two would just walk away. They were all nervous, but the moment of truth had finally arrived. Al Snow, the head trainer of Tough Enough took the podium, and made his final speech. �I stand before the four of you today, and I can�t tell you how impressed I am with all of you. You have come so far, and I have watched each of you grow into what you are today. You are all more than capable of being a WWE Superstar. Nevertheless, not everyone can win. There are only two contracts up for grabs tonight. There can only be two winners. So let�s not put this off anymore. We had two competitors this year that stood out above all the rest. Two who fought so hard to make it here, through both injury and exhaustion. I just wanted to say good luck to you all.� Matt and Jeff Hardy, hosts of the final show, took the stage and introduced the four finalists one last time. After they showed a little video about each finalist, John �Big� Gaburick joined the Hardy Boyz on the stage. Big handed the first envelope to Matt. He walked over to the microphone and said, �The first winner of a WWE contract is�� There was a long pause as he opened the envelope. �Brady!� Everybody started to clap and cheer as Brady rose from his seat and made his way to the stage. Big presented him with his trophy and he raised it into the air high above his head. Brady then set it down on the podium and said, �First of all, I�d like to thank my parents, friends and of course, the trainers. Al, you are awesome. Thanks!� Brady took his trophy and raised it into the air again, then walked to the side of the stage. Big handed the second envelope to Jeff and he turned to the microphone. �The excitement� can you stand it?� Jeff said. �And the second winner of Tough Enough 3 is�� Another pause. �Ryanna.� Ryanna sat for a moment in shock as she heard her name roll out of Jeff�s mouth. She stood up and everyone around her started to cheer and hug her. She hugged her boyfriend, Chris, of three years, and then went up onto the stage. With tears of joy rolling down her cheeks, she walked over to Big and he handed her the trophy. She walked to the podium and raised it into the air, while everyone cheered for her. �I could never have imagined that I would actually win this contract. I have worked so hard, and fought for so much to make it here. First, I would like to thank the trainers for this tremendous opportunity. Without you, I would not have made it this far. I would also like to thank my parents and my boyfriend Chris. Without your belief in me, and your support, I would not be here. But most of all I would like to thank everyone I trained with, the cast. I wish we all could be up here tonight. However, without your tough competition who knows if I could have made it. Never give up on your dream, because you all are more than capable and worthy of being here, just keep trying. Thank you all so much!� Brady joined Ryanna at the podium and they gave each other a hug. Together, for one last time they raised their trophies into the air. Everyone cheered and then cast of all three Tough Enough Shows walked up on stage and joined the two winners. After the show ended, they held a party which many WWE Superstars attended. Although Ryanna had a boyfriend, she was very excited about having an opportunity to talk to her favorite WWE Superstar. She was scanning the room when she spotted him. He was standing against the wall, away from where most of the crowd was, just observing. Now was her chance, and she was nervous. She dug deep for some courage and walked over to him. �Hi,� she said. �I�m Ryanna, but my friends call me Ryann� �I know who you are. It�s nice to meet you, I�m Jeff.� |
