Old Timers' Day at Yankee Stadium, also Reggie Jackson Day, where they unveiled a plaque to him in Monument Park. I only went because I had free tickets. On a positive note, the Blue Jays shut down the Yankees and won 8-3. I hate the Yankees.

Roger Clemens pitches at Shea for the first time since hitting Piazza in the head and throwing a bat at him in 2000. Shawn Estes throws behind Clemens, then he and Piazza hit HRs off of him in an 8-0 drubbing. This was one of the most satisfying Mets games I have ever been to. I hate the Yankees.

The Nets' first ever trip to the Conference Finals! No bandwagon fan here; I went to Nets games back when they had the likes of Doug Overton and Jamie Feick. Nets win 104-97 on the way to their first NBA Finals appearance.
