An apology was made to the Indianswho were offended and told they are held in the highest regards ? If the Indians and their merchandise are held in such high esteem, why is only a restricted portion of their highly respected merchandise promoted ? Why have the Jamaican merchants been off the program ?
Where is the apology to the non-Indian merchants / suppliers ? They are not held high enough regard ? These insulting e-mails offended everyone connected to the business !
Most of the merchants we heard from, did not feel slighted at not being invited to the conference. They prefer to have the promoters trained impartially, not by any merchants.
If the intention for those hired to work for Princess was that they would be traines in the level expected by the cruise line, why would PPI want them to receive the same training Rick Domanski received from DI ? Is this what Princess Cruise Line requested ?
DI, because of their many locations, was invited to help the Branding companies and INternational clients train the promoters. These companies are not capable of training without the help of Diamonds International corporate representatives ?
Other clients rpresent international brands, but clearly, DI was invited so that they could be given an unfair advantage over other merchants. This also suggests that the majority of brands invited to speak at the conference represented DI.
Only corporate representatives of DI were invited ? Is it a coincidence that DI island managers were all present for the week ? And that those managers PSAs / Super Shoppers the week before that they would be there for the training ? Have their titles been changed ?
