Sometimes I will do a trigger object experiment during an investigation. This is a simple experiment. I start by getting a piece of graph paper and an object. I have used objects like , a remote control, keys, dog bones or even bells.
Ie try to use an object that the Spirit could relate to, e.g. if we were in a hotel room we would most likely use the remote control, if that object has been reported to be moved unexplainably.
Once you have chosen your object draw around the object and leave the room secure by making sure all windows and doors are locked if it is possible. I sometimes leave a tape recorder and external microphone with the object in the room to see if I can capture an EVP of the object moving for no apparent reason.
You could also use a video camera in the room to try and get something on video. To this date I have had no luck using this method but there are many paranormal groups that have had very good luck. I guess being at the right place at the right time plays an important role.
EMF and Temperature Experiments
During an investigation especially during a psychic impression keep a close eye on the electrical magnetic field and temperature activity. Spirits supposedly give off abnormally high amounts of EMF�s. This can be recorded by using an Natural Tri Field Meter and may help confirm that spirit energy may be present near the meter.
NOTE; when using this method be sure you are not picking up natural EMF readings from appliances wiring in a home, pipes or even types of metal used in door hinges. This should be done before the investigation starts.
An interesting thing to note on temperature is when a Psychic picks up a spirit in a room I like to monitor the ambient temperature recorders in that area to see if there is any temperature change with the spirit being present.
Another way would be to set up a video camera on the trigger object for a period of time
Although, I only list a few experiments here our group is constantly experimenting with new equipment and working to use the equipment we own better to get more accurate results.
Orb Experiments
Now what's a website that doesn't talk about Orbs, well this one will be no exception, over the years of investigation I have taken over 10,000 photos, yes 10,000 and with that number of photos I have probably
at least a couple thousand with those pesky Orbs in them. I am not going to tell you all Orb photos are Dust, moisture, bugs etc.. Because I am sure they are not I work with investigators and interviewed people who have seen them with their eyes. Some could be legitimately something but what? I am not going to get into what they can be because there are many theories on that. This write up is on experiments so what I would like you to do is take your camera in a dark location and shake a piece of clothing or smack a pillow directly infromt of your camera and take a picture (with the flash on) right away. Now this may take several attempts but you WILL get Orb pictures I can guarantee that, the problem is you cannot control where dust is, I have heard many times "well I only have one Orb in my picture". It doesn't matter it only takes 1 strand of dust a 1/2 from the camera lens to create an Orb picture, and with that being said I have documented this using photography and video at the same time. So with that being said when you investigate a reported haunted location and you are taking pictures take them in pairs so you have something to look back on keeping the camera in the exact location as the picture before. Use your entire camera card, don't take a few photos take a few hundred photos see how many have Orbs in them, then see how many look the same. Then if you have 1 or 2 that look completely different have a second look at those ones.
