Q: Do you think that family planning has an important contribution in changing a country?

(Effective) family planning (can) significantly cut costs within the family, then the local community, and finally the whole country.

Given the statement above, the following are examples or probable scenarios to support the given statement [ according to country, local community, and family ].

Country: If our country’s population was only ½ or ¾ of it’s present number today as a

result of effective family planning methods, then all of the country’s natural

resources would be more than enough if not too much for all of us. Then instead

of importing products in which we spend precious dollar reserves, we could even

  • be able to export goods so we will have more foreign currency inflow than outflow, if not payments for our foreign debts.
  • Local Community: There will be lesser problems in garbage because the lesser the population,

the lesser the garbage. And our rivers would still be clean because no one will

throw garbage in it and probably no one will live in it’s banks/river side.

Family: The income of the parents would be more than enough for the entire family, and

the parents can be able to spend more time with their child/children and be able

to effectively teach things about life, etc..
