The Massillon (near Canton), Ohio native: He played football and Majored in psychology at Kent State in Massillon. Jeff decided to move to Hollywood to persue a career in entertaiment. After a few acting jobs, he dedided to form a singing group. Then that guy decided to quit, but not before he introduced Jeff to Nick Lachey. Later, Justin and Drew joing and 98º was born!!
Jeff is the most passionate member of 98º. When he's performing, he puts real emotion in to it and makes the music come alive WOW!!!. Also, he's a SWEET AND SENSITIVE GUY!!.
He was voted "PRETTY EYES" of his Senior class for obvious reasons!!!
Jeff Timmons transitioned from teen hero to young adult entrepreneur, keeping his professionalism and enthusiasm. Known as the gorgeous first tenor vocal founding member of the multi-platinum selling group 98 Degrees. He has gone solo, at least, temporarily, and plans to perform with his beloved group again that brought such mega hits as “The Hardest Thing” “I Do” "Invisible Man" "Give Me Just One Night" "Because of You" and the number one hit with Mariah Carey "Thank God I Found You". After a stellar career with 98 Degrees, Jeff has single-handedly written and produced his first solo album, released as a joint venture between his own company, Rising Phoenix Media, LLC and SLG Music. The album has already given him a Top 20 hit on Billboards AC chart with the lead off single "Whisper That Way" and was most added at radio every week leading up to his peak position.
Flash Forward: Instead of the VIP connection immediately assisting him to jump into the music scene and an accidental audition brought him a commercial in Hawaii for the Navy. he formed his second group, what is now 98 Degrees.
Another high point: Singing at the White House, Washington D.C. twice. “I’ve never been so nervous before a performance, when I was to sing a-cappella for President Clinton. It was the first time we were doing ‘Ave Maria’ in public and it was live on TV for a White House Holiday Special. Other highlights include hosting and appearing on such shows as MTV's "TRL", "Video Music Awards", “American Music Awards", "The Teen Choice Awards" (he is the owner of their coveted award surf board), and many platinum records on his wall from all over the globe.
Jeff shows signed with Management 101 (LA/NYC) to assist him with his acting and theatrical interests. So keep your eye on the big screen and broadway stage because Jeff has already gone on several auditions!
Jeff is currently on tour doing spot dates around the country and in the studio working on a new album: “ Love Again” ~a.k.a.~ Love Calls his favourite about Jeff’s life in O.C. for a late 2005 release.
