In the other folder someone mentioned Pig's old organ. In 1973 after 
Pig died, his brother Kevin started a band and was using the old Vox 
organ that was used on the first album. I remember it was beat to 
death. One corner was plaster of paris and chicken wire and if you 
pushed one key down, 3 more went down with it. Kevin said it had been 
"Vio-leed-Blued". When Garcia showed up at the Moore's garage to help 
out the band he saw that organ and let out a scream. 
By the 2nd lesson he helped Kevin get a new organ. 
Although Garcia wanted that old Vox deposited in the bay, I believe 
Carol McKernan still has it stored away.
