| I found this claim doubtful. I used the Lexis-Nexis database (from the campus of Louisiana State University, in Baton Rouge, La, USA) of newspaper articles to investigate this. I found it very difficult to believe that a politician was threatening to have hotel's charges unrelated to homeless persons investigated. An article I found revealed the truth: hotels had been charging persons who are not customers renting a room who wish to use a hotel lobby telephone $30 per phone call! |
