My new Canon BJC-55 printer
taken August 2002
I took this photo at a coffeeshop.  The printer is sitting on a table located ouside the front of the coffeeshop.
Also shown in the photo are my Handera 330 (on the piece of paper), a piece of paper with the text of a memo shown (one that I printed using the printer, moments before I took this photo), my foldable keyboard that I use with my 330, and the stylus that came with my 330.
I've been very pleased with the portability of this printer, but I've been so-far dissapointed about many things, such as
(1) the first black-ink cartriage ran out of ink (or seemed too...perhaps the ink dried up or something) after I printed only around ten pages,
(2) the battery unexpectedly needed a recharging after only a few days, and a after I had printed only about six pages (but this probably was because it is a new battery).
(3) no paper-feed tray came with the printer, even though I paid $380 for it.  I've learned that Canon sells a plastic paper-feed tray for this printer -- for an amazing $50.
(4) without a paper feed tray, I must hand-feed each successive page into the printer.

Other than these problems, its great! (Groan...)
