| --Al Gore once claimed that he invented the internet [write-up what Ann Coulter said about this in her book Slander: Liberal lies about the American Right] [exhibit what George W. Bush said about this during the 1st debate] [exhibit John Leo's crazy "Al Gore, father of the internet" statement in that editorial] [exhibit Richard Reeve's crazy statement about this] [exhibit Richard Gebhart's crazy claim about this] --Al Gore has lied by claiming that he spent his youth on a farm [exhibit Cal Thomas's wording that claims Gore lied this way] [compare Thomas's claim to the claim of the authors of the book The Prince of Tennessee] --Al Gore claimed to have brought Love Canal to the attention of the American people. [quote Ann Coulter's Slander] [Gore actually merely claimed that he brought Love Canal to the attention of a committee he was leading.] --Al Gore has sought to ban the automobile (rather than the internal combustion engine) [find the George Will quote I recall that I saw] --Al Gore said (in Earth In The Balance) that Lindzen "retracted his views" about global warming [I recall that this was claimed in Eco-Scam, by Ronald Bailey] --Al Gore said (in Earth In The Balance) that Lindzen has said that global warming claims have no scientific basis. [see wording in the chapter written by Lindzen in Environmental Gore] --Al Gore said that HIV would increase as a result of global warming [I recall that I saw this claim in Eco-Scam] --Al Gore said (in Earth in the Balance) that western-nation's treatment of the environment can be traced to Hilter and Stalin [reproduce the wording of the claim in Telling the Truth] [a lie by Lynn Cheney, in her book Telling the Truth] --Al Gore said in Earth In The Balance that people who disagree with him are mentally ill --Al Gore lied when he claimed that he spent five months in Vietnam as a reporter for US forces there. |
| It appears to me that Al Gore is the most lied-about person in the past 50 years or so. That is, I believe that the total number of times that individual human beings somewhere on planet earth have heard a lie about Al Gore is greater for Al Gore than it is for any other person in all of the past 50 years. |
