emo - short for "emotional." Emo is a broad title that covers a lot of different styles of emotionally-charged punk rock.
A lot of "Emo" people are accualy mocked fort his because there though of as being depressed and always sad which is not always the case. Emo is a group that is, like many groups, centered around the music. The common bond that htey all share is they like that kind of music and probably share a lot of the same views one life. All though this isn't a huge group it is getting bigger and more bands that Emo's support are becoming main sream.
