Hi everyone,

Well today is packing day to head off tomorrow to Guelph where I will participate in a eight day silent directed retreat with the Jesuits. From Nov 19-27th, I will spend time in silence, prayer and spiritual direction.  There will also be time for me to journal, sketch as well as walking around the beautiful grounds of Loyola House. This will be an important time for me, a chance to remove myself from the busy schedule of L'Arche to go deeper into my story I am living with its questions and movements. 

I left Riverview in August in a state that was not good for my health physically or spiritually.  In these three months here, I have had time to adapt to a new rythum in my own life. I have settled in, found my place and most importantly come into contact with my heart and my story.

I bring this with me and my journal and sketch pad, my MP3 player with some good relaxing music and away I go. There will be no blog while I am away, my computer stays here, so hold your emails while I am away.

Again I ask you to pray simply that I open my heart to God, to hear that voice, to listen to how and where I am being called to love. Let us hold one another in prayer.
