Hunting in New Zealand 2005
Anthony and his first Fallow stag taken the last day we hunted in Wanganui. You can also see the head of the goat he took minutes earlier
Anthony with his goat taken only minutes before his Stag, in fact he took a rabbit only minutes before the goat as well
Sam (Longshot) Bircham (11) with his first Fallow Stag (also 11 points), taken at 180 metres (203 yds) near the Totara Nui hut
My nephew Anthony with a Fallow hind he took for camp meat on the first day. This trip was my present to him for graduating from high school
My little Billy taken at 30 ft with an 80lb bow & a 2315 arrow, he was directly below me in a mob of goats
My fallow stag taken while he was chasing some hinds around. I would not normally have taken him since he was so small, but  Terry was video taping the whole stalk, and it is not often that one gets everything on video. I had the opportunity later in the week to take several other stags, but elected to leave them for next year
