Subject: Cousins...

Greetings from Virginia.

I was thinking of my Lutz cousins today. I had a boy in my class all excited
because his cousins were coming to town. They were going to go swimming in
the hotel pool tonight.
It got me to thinking back to all the great times we have had together at
weddings, reunions, Thanksgiving, sitting at the little table at Meem's
house or wherever we have gathered.

Smoking cigars...
Getting facials...
swimming...
hats...
chasing each other around the basement...
riding ferris wheels at a county fair...

These are just a few of the thoughts that came flooding back to me as I
drove home today.
I don't have addresses for all the cousins so pass this along please.
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
With great love and memories, Kent

From Tammy:

I have but a few words to say...

My seamless, isn't shapeless, anymore!!

Let's see, I'll add:

Bonnie with a pillow case on her head
Meemie's meatloaf with a hard boiled egg hidden inside
Meemie and I watching Lawrence Welk on Saturday evenings
Picking cherries from the tree in Meem's backyard
Dyeing easter eggs with beet juice and onion skins
Riding horses with Greg in Minnesota
Riding in Becca's convertable in Ingomar
Camping at Lu Acres (Kris was stung by a sweat bee)

I'm at work and have no other email address, except my sisters, but I
know they will pass on! Thanks, my Fredericksburg cousin!!!! Tam
I can add--

--writing messages on balloons advertising the singles
--doing cartwheels down the church aisle
--sitting in hotel rooms reminiscing and tell stories that had been told to
us
--Twink
--big wicker chairs on Bonnie's porch

I might be dating my self on some of these!!

dinners.

Ok Cousins - I'm going to REALLY date myself......I remember...
Margie and I standing at the back of the church waiting for Aunt Nancy
and Uncle Jim to get married.......then sometime that weekend we went to
Aunt Nancy's parents home (maiden name Brookhart maybe??) anyway we went
to their home and they had a teeny tiny kitchen!
Chewing Beeman's gum at Bonnie's and listening to Paul Harvey
Driving Meem's little red Valiant with Becky in the chuch parking lot
(Decker Drive) listening to Roberto Clemente' hitting a home run for the
Pirates.

least he looked mean} )

bite!)
Hiding from Greg in the dog house

The little tiny floor heater in the bathroom (for some reason it was
intriguing!)
Playing with Meem's telephone in the dining room .
The little glass wind chimes on the porch
All the furniture pushed up close to the fire place in the winter.
Helping Uncle Jim wash dishes (I think I stood on a chair and watched)
Peeking at Uncle Tom hugging Aunt Aleene in our dining room in
Gettysburg (pre-wedding!)
Waiting for Aunt Aleene to get up from the toilet so I could go - and
she realized her water broke and off they flew to have Amy!!!
