Easy CD Creator 3.x Track Writer Errors

TrackWriter error messages appear in the View Errors dialog if there is a problem when testing or writing a CD. This table gives causes and solutions for the most common errors; for any error codes or text not listed in this table, please contact the appropriate technical support department.

IMPORTANT: If your copy of Easy CD Creator came bundled with a recorder, you will need to contact the recorder manufacturer or reseller for support. If you own Easy CD Creator Deluxe, you may search the Adaptec Support Knowledgebase (ASK).

Wait failed Easy CD Creator was waiting for acknowledgement that a command it sent to the recorder had been completed, but did not receive this acknowledgement. Check your SCSI cables and termination, reboot your computer, and restart the recorder.
T7124 Win32CD command failed A command failed in reading from a CD-ROM drive. Check your SCSI cables, clean the source CD, restart the CD-ROM drive, Easy CD Creator, and perhaps the PC.
T7124 CD read failed There was an error reading from the source CD. Check your SCSI cables, clean the source CD, restart the CD-ROM drive, Easy CD Creator, and perhaps the PC.
T7127 Flush failed Easy CD Creator sent a flush command in an attempt to recover from a recorder error, but the flush failed. This error will be accompanied by another message describing the real problem

Initialization failed Try again to launch Easy CD Creator. If this error persists, try reinstalling the software.
T7307 Data incomplete This error may occur when WAV files recorded as audio tracks are shorter than described in the source list. Easy CD Creator will pad the file with zeroes (silence) to reach the reported track length.

File read failed If you are recording data, make sure that all the files you wish to record are actually available. There could also be a problem with the hard disk being used to temporarily cache files. If the problem persists, run ScanDisk to check the hard disk for defects and/or choose another hard disk.
T76xx TrackWriter warning - Operation continues There was a recorder error, but the software was able to recover and compensate for it. If this kind of error occurs persistently, you may need to have your recorder checked, but in any case the disc you burned should be fine.
