Moschops, Moschops was a Therapsid (ancestor of mammals). It walked on all fours (quadroped) with sprawling front legs and more column-like rear limbs. Moschops may have competed in head butting contests. Diet: Ate plants with chisel-like teeth set in large jaws. Classification: Subclass-Synapsida Order-Therapsida Suborder-Tapinocephalidae Where: Fossils have been discovered in South Africa Size: 16 feet (5 meters) long with a 4 inch (10 cm) thick skull.
