Eustreptospondylus,
Not much is known about this European
carnivore. Given the maritime enviroment
in which it was found, it could have been
a beachcomber, as well as an carnivore.

Evidence,
Based on a single skeleton found in the
Oxford Clay, north of Oxford. This
was probably a carcass that had drifted
out to sea.

Size,
Around 16 feet (5 meters) long and
wieghed half a ton.

Diet,
Carnivore and scavenger.

Age,
165-160 million years ago
