Brachiosaurus, The real giant among saurapods, not because of its length or even its height, which was considerable, but because of its sheer bulk. Like a giraffe it was adapted to feed on high plant material and had close-cropping teeth for nipping food.
Evidence, Although two partial skeletons come from the Morrison in Utah and Colorado, the best known species was identified from finds in the Tendaguru Beds in Tanzania.
Size, About 75 feet (23 meters) long, but weighed up to 70 tons and could graze at a height of about 43 feet (13 meters). Its height at the shoulder was about 20 feet (6 meters).
Diet, Herbivore, probably not choosy, its diet would have been biased toward conifer leaves and fruit.
