She'll be fine……..
This is my good friend Rod, I worked with him for over a year at QCA. He's a funny bastard who has a nice family. Hi Sam and Jaida if you're reading this! Anyway, I was primarily a pool builder but didn't get any pics of my Picasso-like works of art so here are some spa photos. Up top Rod and I are getting ready to silicone the euros, jumbos, neck jets, adjustable jets, suctions, big jets, filter, blah blah blah into the tub. This tub has already been molded, sprayed with a toxic high rise that will kill you (ha!), marked out and had the holes all cut where the many different jets need to be. Now for the most important part, the plumbing….
Here I am happily gluing a wave seat. I would have to say I'm doing a fine job right there. There is so much involved in plumbing one of these tubs, you'd be absolutely amazed.
This is Rod pretending like he just finished plumbing those two seats together from the wave valve. In reality, I plumbed the whole damn tub while he kept saying "I don't got tits, I got a chest!" crazy stuff. But there you can kind of see some of the work involved. These tubs are very expensive and are not expected to leak for years and years so it's very important that they are plumbed well. Which is why the place would fall apart without Jeff Alcala and Rod there. Jeffie is the best worker QCA has ever had, and a damn good guy too. There are a lot of cool guys there. So do me a favor, visit their
homepage, educate yourself, and buy a spa from Jim! He'll make you a great deal.
Here's a small glimpse of the retail floor. The tub I'm standing by doesn't sell well so it's always marked way down and it's still close to 10 grand. We're talkin' quality products here. And our spas don't leak! Just ask Jerry…."SUMMMMMM BITCH!"
Proof that I did all the work while Rod sniffed glue all day. Whoo hoo! Na, he's just posing of course. That glue is nasty. So, I wish I had some cool pool pics but I guess it's just not meant to be. We worked too hard on pool crew to take pictures! And you know this…….mannnnnn!!!!!!!!!
