GAME SHARK CODES
One complaint I have with both Bushido Blade games is that the boss characters are not playable. In the original Bushido Blade, only the six main characters were initially playable. If you beat Slash Mode with dying, you unlocked Katze the Gunman. That was it. There was no way to unlock Hanzaki the dojomaster, Sazanka, Tsubame and the two hidden endbosses. Bushido Blade 2 was much better in this respect, with six initially playable characters plus sixteen more that could be unlocked through gameplay. I think Square missed an opportunity though by not making the two main endbosses playable as well.
If you have a Game Shark, you can change all of that. At the sites listed below, you will find codes that will allow you to access ALL the boss characters in versus mode. Or perhaps you'd like to give Katze a taste of his own medicine and equip Mikado with an assault rifle. It's not exactly following the code of Bushido but it can make for a bizarre and interesting variation. So check these sites out.
The best place to go for codes for the North American versions of the two Bushido Blade games. Their codes for the original Bushido Blade include codes that allow you to access Hanzaki, Sazanka and Tsubame, plus Tatsumi's nemesis Hongo and the mysterious black armored samurai. The codes available for Bushido Blade 2 are pretty much limited to unlocking the support characters but you can't have everything.
If you have the Japanese version of either Bushido Blade game, then this is the place for you. AGSCC is the #1 internet site for Japanese-version game shark codes. The Bushido Blade section is a bit small, but they have fourteen codes for Bushido Blade 2 which will allow you to expand your gameplay to new areas. Play as Daina Hiiragi, the Shainto endboss with his suit of nearly impenatrable armor, or as his Narukagami counterpart, teleporting safely out of danger before your opponant can score that one fatal blow. Equip your favorite Narukagami with a yari or your favorite Shainto with a naginata. Or perhaps you prefer something less honorable like an assault rifle or pistol. It's all here so check it out.
