Last night I went to the playing fields and met up with Blowfish and Coda to watch the CPL qualifyers - the tournament was really good - it was refreshing to see the names behind the demos I had been watching of late. I was really inspired to play the game after watching. I went home, played for one and a half hours and got my brother to record a demo of me against nightmare Xaero. Get the demo HERE

The other day, I was walking down my high street when I saw a bunch of youths sharing a cigarette, trying to look cool and basically acting as societies misfits. I also saw old ladies pushing their shopping trolleys along. Situations like these I always relate to quake... I imagine myself to be in an FFA. I look at the group of youths and think of the most efficient way to dispose of them� A rocket aimed at the current guy with the cigarette and maybe finish em off with mid air, follow up rockets or even rails. Perhaps a grenade lobbed into the centre of the group to disperse the crowd and finish with a machine gun hmmm yummy. The old ladies with the trolleys are like the lagged newbie modem players who don�t do any of the killing apart from stand in your way, firing at the wall. The best way to deal with them is to fire a rocket � if they die, they die, if not, then move on � spending time finishing a job means you are missing out on multi group kills. Also when I walk around a corner, I am sub consciously tempted to jump, incase a camping fag is waiting with a rail gun at the end of the road. Bunny hopping is also a temptation when trying to catch a bus� Is this normal? Hmmmm.
Yesterday I watched LEON. I downloaded the divX file from Steve. I had no idea what the movie was about until I watched it. I thought the movie was fantastic! In particular I was very impressed with the young actress playing Matilda. I would recommend everyone to watch this movie if they haven�t already. Having watched the movie, I think I now want to become a hit man ... Maybe take out a few of the weirdoes playing quake 3 who doubt my mad fighting skillz
Quake wise, a great performance by the clan against SS. With some more practice we should be able to come closer to beating them or at least give them a good run for their money. I was itching to play last night. God I need a cable modem so bad� Shouldn�t be long now though so keeping my fingers crossed for the moment. I think I will take a week off from work just playing online quake 3 to get up to speed with the rest of the LPB Quake 3 community.
Today I had to go to Reading � On the train, there was a penis sitting a few seats away from me and was listening to the most outrageously loud music one could possibly listen to. I could tell the music was �FreeStyler� � I felt like getting up from my seat, ripping off his headphones and shouting �you fucking inconsiderate, cock, can�t you see I am trying to travel to work and I need peace and quite?� But due to the fact there was a fat American sitting next to me I could not leave my seats � which I suppose was a good thing or that cock could have spent the rest of the day in hospital.
